Hi Open League Racers,

Results from the Nor Cal Slalom have been added to our Results web page.

Back when portable computers were the size (and weight) of a sewing machine, Open League acquired a Compac Portable II. For two years with the assistance of Race Director Nancy Kelly, good friends Jo Ann Rego, Astra Gabriel, and whoever I could grab at the Parallelers ski cabin, I did the race results. After I escaped that job, I was approached by then Race Director Robb Margrave and asked if I could put together a Open League Web Site. I had never done one before but it would be a good excuse to learn something new. His first response to the prototype was: "Good God!!! WOW, THIS IS COOL!" Then it became more pro-active with eMails notifiying racers that "a storm is comin' in so if you go to the mountain, do it to ski powder" because the race had been postponed. There's been one major update to the site over the years and it's time for the next generation to freshen it up. Sooo..., enjoy and possibly we'll catch up later. MANY THANKS to all who have volunteered their time to Open League Racing! Without them, the "core crazies," there wouldn't be a race.
